Olori Cecilia Naadensua Matemilola holds Master’s-level studies in International Business Law and Business Administration & Law from Arcada University of Applied Sciences, a Master’s degree in Health Care Services, Social Work, Leadership & Management from Lahti University of Applied Sciences, and a Dual Degree in Social Services, Youth & Sports from Laurea University of Applied Sciences, including 60 ECTS in Early Childhood Education & Care. She is also a certified Sociologist by Valvira and holds several international and professional diplomas.
Her professional and international leadership journey began at the age of 17, when she represented Ghana, young people and girls at international workshops, conferences and youth development programmes across different regions of Ghana and internationally, working on behalf of organisations including UNFPA, UNDP, PPAG, UNICEF and other international organisations in Ghana. Her early work focused on social development, youth advocacy, research and community engagement, continuing until 2006, when she relocated to Finland.
In Finland, Olori Cecilia has held senior positions including Founder & CEO of Ceci Educare Oy, Founder of the Africa Nordic Business Forum & Prestigious Global Awards, Part-Time Head Teacher, Daycare Director/Manager, Regional Coordinator, Head Teacher, Preschool Teacher and Kindergarten Teacher/Group Leader. Her career spans education leadership, pedagogical management, social services, international programme development, entrepreneurship, strategic partnerships and Africa–Nordic cooperation.
She was the first African to serve as a Board Member of the British Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce in Finland. Through her company, she also became the first African-owned organisation to join prominent international business associations, including the Norwegian Trade Association and the Finnish-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, maintaining these engagements until early 2026 as she transitioned from her corporate career into her royal journey as an Olori.
She has also served as the Nordic Representative for the Tunisia African Business Chamber and the International Society of Diplomats, further strengthening her experience in international diplomacy, business relations, trade, education and cross-border cooperation.
As Olori, she now seeks to channel her extensive international experience, networks and leadership knowledge towards the sustainable development, educational advancement, economic empowerment, cultural preservation and international positioning of the Owu Kingdom, with a particular commitment to creating opportunities for its youth, women and future generations.
