Executive Roundtable: Nordic–Global Connections & Leadership

Today in Helsinki, an inspiring executive dialogue was held with HRH Queen Consort Olori Cecilia of the Owu Kingdom, exploring Nordic–Owu Kingdom connections across cultural heritage, trade, investment and leadership.

Hosted by Rödl Finland in collaboration with the International Women’s Club of Helsinki (IWCH). Ieva Honkanen a board member of IWCH organised the event and the dialogue was hosted on behalf of Rödl Finland by Nora Haapala, Attorney-at-Law and Associate Partner.

Olori Cecilia presented the Owu Palace, Alayeluwa Oba Saka Matemilola, Nigeria, the Olowu Hope Initiative, and opportunities for Nordic organisations to partner with the Owu Kingdom on development projects and initiatives.

The gathering brought together diplomats, members of IWCH, international business consultants, entrepreneurs, board members and Rödl representatives.

With Olori Cecilia’s longstanding engagement as the founder of the Nordic–African Business Forum, spanning 2023 to April 2026, the dialogue reaffirmed the importance of building meaningful bridges between the Nordic region and Africa.

The Owu Kingdom looks forward to working together with the Nordic and European markets, building meaningful partnerships and creating opportunities for collaboration, investment and sustainable development.

The Owu Kingdom is open to international partnerships and Nordic collaboration.
