Since his coronation, he has led the Olowu Hope Initiative, through which the palace provides daily meals for primary school pupils in Abeokuta, alongside work in health, skills development, and environmental sustainability. He has also made the unity of the Yoruba people his central goal. He believes traditional rulers should serve every member of their community, stay above partisan politics, and act as peacemakers whenever tensions arise. It is a privilege to share my life with him and to see his commitment to service up close.Born from a lineage of royal heritage, Cecilia has always carried the weight of culture and the responsibility of leadership. But she has never allowed tradition to become a cage.
