True to her promise, she has since taken significant steps, including offering scholarships to selected individuals from Abura through her accredited UK Continuous Professional Studies online programme.

    In the coming months, she will lead a high-level international delegation to Ghana. Among the distinguished visitors is Mr. Timo Heiskala, Chief Executive Officer of the Autism Foundation Finland, marking the foundation’s first official visit to an African country through the Office of the Development Queen Mother. The Autism Foundation Finland, with over 650 staff members, provides services to autistic adults aged 19 and above. This visit aims to foster cultural exchange, gain insights into Ghana’s community and social systems, and promote the sharing of knowledge and best practices between Finland and Ghana.

    The delegation will be officially received by Omar Bin Abdullah, Station Manager of Coastal TV in Abura, within the Oguaa Traditional Area of Cape Coast. He will coordinate with the elders and council of the Abura Palace to welcome the delegation and facilitate their visit.

It was announced that the next Nana Kodwo Addae II Legacy Award will be presented during the First Royal Event in Lapland, taking place from 29 June to 5 July 2026.     In December 2025, a successful Capacity Building Training programme was held in the Abura Community within the Oguaa Traditional Area of Cape Coast, bringing together students from four junior high schools, including two Catholic schools and two Islamic schools. The initiative was led by Cecilia Naadensua Quarshie, Mputu Hemaa Nana Abena Enyimba II, as part of her commitment to youth empowerment, education, and community development. The training provided an important platform for students to gain valuable insights into personal growth, academic excellence, and future career opportunities.

    The educational session focused on career development, self-belief, and the importance of pursuing one’s dreams with determination and confidence.     The initiative that led to the donation was facilitated through the recommendation of Michael Tagoe, who has worked for several years with the Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana.
